Anis-Ginger Tea

It is cold outside, which makes it even better to enjoy a warm drink. Combine lemon juice with aniseed, honey and ginger to make a delicious cup of tea. It is soothing, comforting, and works wonders for sore throats and chest colds.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup (250ml) water
  • 1 teaspoon aniseed
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine ingredients in small pan. Bring to boil, lower heat, simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Strain. Serve hot in cups.
